Cinema Viscera
Since 2008, we have made several award winning shorts and two feature films: female powered detective comedy-noir, Trench (2018), which was nominated for two 2019 OzFlix Independent Film Awards (Best Film Under $500K and Best Emerging New Talent), and Apparitions (2021), which premiered at Monster Fest in Australia, won Best Feature at the Horrific Hope Film Festival (USA), was nominated for two Septimus Awards in the Netherlands (winning Best Oceanic Actress for lead Cate O’Connor), and was distributed by 4Digital Media on DVD and VOD in the US and UK.
One half of Cinema Viscera, Perri has also worked regularly as a script writer and storyliner for Neighbours, was the creative producer and writing mentor for the award winning web-series Last Breath, co-wrote, directed and produced the popular narrative comedy podcast Moving On. She has also starred in two feature films, played grieving wives and mothers in multiple Australian TV shows (City Homicide, The Doctor Blake Mysteries, and more), scaled cliffs in frocks for several Shakespeare productions and was pushed in front of a car by her real-life brother, Stefan Dennis, as Jill Ramsay on Neighbours.

The other half of Cinema Viscera, Paul has over a decade’s experience as a director, screenwriter, videographer and editor. In addition to features Trench and Apparitions, he has directed 8 short films, as well as editing short films, music videos and web series (winning multiple awards for the popular queer crime drama web-series After Nightfall), co-hosted film criticism radio program Primal Screen (previously Plato's Cave) on RRR FM Melbourne from 2019-21 as well as the podcast Hell Is For Hyphenates from 2010-15, and, as a film historian, he can regularly be heard on blu-ray audio commentaries for Kino Lorber and Arrow.
